Precept Ministries UK was formally set up in 1998 (Charity No.1072938). Since then God has opened many doors for people in our nation to 'discover truth for themselves', using the Inductive Bible Study method. Our office in Salisbury, Wiltshire, supports a growing number of groups across England, Wales and English-speaking Europe. Nigel and Molly Watts were appointed National Directors of Precept Ministries UK in October 2006. They have 3 sons and live in Salisbury, Wiltshire.

We have very close links with Precept Ministries Northern Ireland and Precept Ministries Scotland.

The heart of the ministry is to serve the local church by equipping, enabling and exhorting people to know God and be transformed into the likeness of Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit, by the study of His Word. We have simple but highly effective tools to help people do this. Precept Ministries UK offers resources, support and training for individuals, groups and churches across the Christian denominations.

Precept Ministries International was founded in 1970 by missionaries Jack and Kay Arthur and inductive Bible Study is now taught by Precept in about 150 Countries around the world. Some of our materials have been translated into 70 languages including Chinese, Hindi, Spanish and even Hebrew. Jack and Kay’s son, David Arthur, now works alongside them as part of a large team at Precept Ministries International. He came to Precept after serving with the ‘Generous Giving’ charity and running a church for 10 years.
