Workshops and Seminars  

Thanks to God

Praise God for all the study groups that are meeting faithfully in England, Wales and Europe. Thank Him for the new doors which He is opening for Precept Ministries UK and pray that we will be able to share the joy of discovering truth from God's Word with many more churches and Christian organisations. Thank God especially for the opportunity to teach 2 lessons at a Bible College this month. Pray that trainee pastors and preachers will have the chance to learn how to use the inductive Bible study method to help them prepare their sermons.

Financial

Thank God for His provision for the ministry and pray that He will continue to supply all our needs. Thank Him for all those who support us financially and pray that, despite the current economic climate, more and more people would feel led to give, so that we can help many more people learn to study God's Word for themselves and experience It's transforming power in their lives.

Events next year

Each year we attend a number of big Christian events, sometimes just to have a stand in the exhibition, sometimes to give seminars as well. Please pray that God will open the right doors for us as we apply to exhibit at events for 2010.

About to happen

Please pray for the trustees as they meet on 15th October to discuss how the ministry is to move forward in 2010. Pray specifically for good communication with no technical hitches, as some of the trustees will be joining the meeting via SKYPE internet connections and telephone. Pray that they will know God's mind and His will on each topic that is discussed at this meeting. Please also pray for the new E-newsletter which is being worked on in the office. Pray for the office staff as they co-ordinate this, with the aim of distributing it in November.

The Word of God

The Word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Pray that Christians in this nation would have a hunger for the word of God and that we (students of the word and leaders of Precept classes) would ask God, hear what He says and do what He says.

Encourage Others

Personal invitation to join an inductive study group or to attend a training event is one of the most effective ways the ministry grows. Pray that God would raise up more leaders - leaders of large or small (2 people studying together is the beginning of a group)groups. With more leaders keen to share how inductive study has helped them discover truth for themselves, the word will spread and this will cultivate faithfulness in our land bringing glory to God and righteousness in the lives of His people.
