If you are interested in Precept’s Inductive study method and learning how you can engage more deeply with God through studying the Bible, we have the perfect opportunity for you. You are most welcome to join a group at any time and don’t have to wait until the beginning of a new study.
As many of you know the Precept UK head office is based in Salisbury, however it is such a blessing that there are many talented study group leaders across the nation that are always excited for new people to join them on a Precept Online Study. Study groups run by Precept UK are annotated with our logo. Similarly, all other groups are independent of the office and run separately to us – please note therefore, the group leader reserves the right to restrict those who join their group, and run it according to their own guidelines.
40 Minute Studies (Level 1)
40 Minute: Living a Life of True Worship | Sunday 21st June 2026 | weekly (6-8pm)
When you hear the word Worship what are your initial thoughts? Would it be safe to say you naturally assume that someone is talking about Singing in Church with a band/instruments when you hear the word “Worship”? With this study you can find out how Worship is so much more than just singing. Using examples of people and scriptures from the Bible, engage with this Bible Study today!
Worship may be one of Christianity’s most misunderstood subjects. The Bible teaches that worship is more than just singing in church on Sunday mornings, more than an emotional experience. God calls us to worship Him even in our daily activities. This “living a life of true worship” – 40 Minute Bible Study will give you the biblical pattern for living a life of true worship.

YOUNG ADULTS 14-19 years | 40 Minute Jesus: Experiencing His Touch | Monday 7th September 2026 | (7-30-8:45pm) (under 18’s will need parental permission)
The first six chapters of Mark’s Gospel overflow with stories of people drawing near to Jesus, longing to experience firsthand the touch of the Saviour. Likewise, over and over, Jesus responded with compassion, interacting on a personal level with individuals who had been cast aside by society, their circumstances deemed beyond hope.

Reaching Men | 40 Minute: Turning Your Heart Towards God | 6 meetings, once a month staring Saturday 31 October 2026 (8.30-10.30am)*
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus identified attitudes that bring God’s favour: weeping over sin, demonstrating meekness, showing mercy, nurturing peace, and more. Some of these phrases have become so familiar that we’ve lost sight of their meaning.
In this powerful Bible study, gain a fresh understanding of what it looks like to align your life with God’s priorities. Here you will discover anew why the word blessed means walking in the fullness and satisfaction of God. No matter your circumstances, as you look closely at the meaning behind each of the Beatitudes. See how these truths can shape your choices every day.
This will be a men’s group hybrid meeting so you are welcome to join us in person in the foyer at St Paul’s Church, Fisherton Street, Salisbury SP2 7QW, or via Zoom at 8.45am. If you attend in person, we meet for breakfast first.
The cost of the course for joining online is £6.75 for the book plus P&P. Those joining in person can collect a book in person on the day. There is a £2.50 charge for breakfast for those who attend in person.

We encourage all who lead Precept studies to join us for fellowship, on-going training and encouragement in God’s Word. We share the joys and challenges of discipling others, pray together and motivate each other to press on to fulfil the ministries God has called us to.
