PRECEPT LEADER ACADEMY (PLA) 11-13 November 2024 (Online), 9am-4.30pm
Godly Character: Precept-Upon-Precept TITUS

We are excited to offer you this opportunity to join us for 3 days to dig-deep into the book of Titus and mine the treasures of this short letter. Additionally, you will be taught how to prepare Precept-Upon-Precept (PUP) discussion plans using Precept’s Leader Guides, as well as giving comprehensive teaching about setting up and leading Precept Bible study groups.  Each day will start with a short devotion and there will be plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion.

Pre-requisite for attendance: For you to gain maximum benefit you must have PUP experience, having completed at least 1 PUP study OR have attended an in-person or online PUP Training Workshop OR completed the Precept Training Pathway module, “How to study the Bible using PUP”. Additionally, PUP Titus NAS Lesson 1 (Days 1-5) must be completed BEFORE attendance on the course. (You will be sent the PUP Titus workbook after you have registered and prior to the course, so Lesson 1 can be completed.) If you have any questions, please email Molly: mwatts@precept.org.uk

We’ll meet together each day from 9am – 4.30pm online, with daily assignments to be completed outside of these hours which will further develop your skills as a PUP student and leader.

This is a stand-alone course. However, it is one of 6 comprehensive courses that make up the Precept Leader Academy (PLA). The PLA is run twice each year with a unique programme through which we aim to raise up confident, competent, compassionate, creative Bible study leaders. In order to complete some of the studies, there will be optional follow-up meetings after the course but if this applies, dates and times will be confirmed.

 We also have a long-term vision of raising up Precept Trainers across the UK and Ireland who will have completed all 6 courses as part of the training to become Precept Trainers. 

So why study Titus? Well, we live in a society that is mixed-up, confused and hurting, in a similar way to 2,000 years ago. As we study through Titus, we’ll understand how Biblically sound teaching instructs us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires to live sensibly, in a way that pleases Christ, and has a positive impact on those around us.
