If you are interested in Precept’s Inductive study method and learning how you can engage more deeply with God through studying the Bible, we have the perfect opportunity for you. You are most welcome to join a group at any time and don’t have to wait until the beginning of a new study.
As many of you know the Precept UK head office is based in Salisbury, however it is such a blessing that there are many talented study group leaders across the nation that are always excited for new people to join them on a Precept Online Study. Study groups run by Precept UK are annotated with our logo. Similarly, all other groups are independent of the office and run separately to us – please note therefore, the group leader reserves the right to restrict those who join their group, and run it according to their own guidelines.
40 Minute Studies (Level 1)
40 Minute: Jesus Listening For His Voice | Tuesday 6th May 2025 | weekly (4-5pm) – Especially suits people enquiring or new to Christian faith
True listening isn’t simply hearing the words of Jesus, it involves belief that results in active commitment. Throughout His earthly ministry, Jesus interacted with people from all walks of life. In every case, those individuals could choose to believe His words and reap the rewards of faith, or resist the truth and miss out on everything that truly matters.

40 Minute: Discovering What The Future Holds (Daniel) | Saturday 21st June 2025 | weekly (7-8.30am) | approx 7 weeks
We know what Hollywood Films say about what the end times will look like, but what does the Bible say? Will peace ever come to our world? How long will you have to wait, and what’s coming? God maps the future in the Book of Daniel. When most people think of Daniel, they think of the lions den. Alternatively, If you want to understand the book of Revelation then the book of Daniel is pivotal to understanding the vision of John. New Inductive Study Series (NISS) (Level 2)
Reaching Men | NISS: Standing Firm In These Last Days (1&2 Thess) | 6 meetings, once a month starting Saturday 2 November 2024 (8.30-10.45am)*
Jesus is coming soon! Does that fill you with joy or fear – or a little of both? Do you wonder how you should order your life in light of His coming? First and Second Thessalonians will show you how to order your life in the light of Christ’s imminent return. The study is practical, applicable and transferrable. We’ll be studying the book of 1 Thessalonians in the New Inductive Study Series (NISS) book called “Standing Firm In These Last Days”. The NISS series is perfect for small groups and 1:1 discipleship and is a Level 2 Precept Study.
This will be a men’s group hybrid meeting so you are welcome to join us in person in the foyer at St Paul’s Church, Fisherton Street, Salisbury SP2 7QW, or via Zoom. If you attend in person, we meet for breakfast first.
The cost of the course for joining online is £5.50 for the book plus P&P. Those joining in person can collect a book in person on the day. There is a £2.50 charge for breakfast.

PUP Galatians | Tuesday 9th September 2025, (Introduction), then fortnightly (9.30-11.00am)
As the gospel spread across the Roman world in the first decades after Jesus’ earthly ministry, conflict arose. Jews and Gentiles were believing the gospel, and a struggle over what it meant to be a Christian began. What does it mean to live under grace? Do you have to keep the Law to be a Christian? All of it or just part of it? Who is right? How will we know? Find out with Galatians Precept Upon Precept how God used an apostle to write a letter to some churches that were struggling with this issue, a letter that still speaks today.
