What happens when God’s people compromise with sin? How does idolatry blind the heart, harden the will, and lead to destruction? Can revival come, or is captivity inevitable?

These sobering questions mark the history of Israel in the days of the kings and prophets. Though God sent prophets like Elijah and Elisha to call His people back, the kings continued the downward spiral of disobedience that began with Jeroboam, choosing idols over the living God. In response, God raised up a Gentile power, Assyria, as an instrument of judgment. Yet even in the midst of rebellion, God’s mercy and call to repentance still rang out with hope.

In this Chains of Choice Precept Bible school, you will trace Israel’s story of compromise and consequence, revival and resistance, and discover timeless lessons for today. This study reveals the dangers of idolatry, the seriousness of God’s call to holiness, and the urgency of choosing obedience over compromise. It will challenge you to recognise the idols in your own life, to heed God’s warnings, and to walk faithfully with Him in a world filled with competing voices.

*Some workbooks can take longer than the weekend to complete, complimentary follow-on sessions will be available.

1. To qualify for the free Bible, two or more bookings must be made at the same time with at least one person being new to the Precept Bible School (PBS) ie they have never attended one of the PBS courses before. 2. If a person who has already attended a PBS course, books to attend at the same time they book more than one new person to attend also, the number of Bibles sent will equal the number of new attendees booked with them. 3. If 2 people book and both are new to the PBS, one Bible will be sent (both however will still receive a free copy of How To Study Your Bible). 4. This offer is for a hardback Bible only. If a softone Milano Bible is preferred there will be an additional £15 to pay. 5. Bibles will be sent with course materials approximately 3 weeks before the PBS course begins. 6. You will be contacted after booking for the details of the additional person(s) and which version of the Bible(s) is required (NASB or ESV). 6. This offer is for UK residents only.
