(NISS-11) Listening to God in Difficult Times (Jeremiah)

by Kay Arthur & Pete De Lacy
13 Lessons

Listening to God in Difficult times isn’t easy. But, one man (Jeremiah) is a great example of the benefit of doing so. Jeremiah’s warnings to a nation that has turned its back on the Lord echo through the ages. Similarly, it speak to cultures today. See the prophet’s heartbreak at the nation’s apostasy, his sense of urgency, and the resistance he faces. Identify with God’s people throughout the ages. Receive assurance that nothing happening today is taking God by surprise. Nevertheless, even in dark seasons, evil will be judged, righteousness will be rewarded, and God’s plans for His people stands firm.

In this 13-week NISS Study on “Listening to God in Difficult Times” cover six days of guided lessons, 20 to 30 minutes long. Help and teach others how to discover God’s precepts, purposes and promises on your own. Also, questions for group discussion or individual study are provided on Day Seven along with closing commentary.
